HelpSource, a private not-for-profit agency, served Washtenaw and western Wayne County from 1917 until 2007. HelpSource was the result of a merger in 1997 of Child and Family Service of Washtenaw and Huron Services for Youth.

The programs offered by HelpSource in 2007 were:

· Adoption Services

· Foster Care

· Homemaking, Personal Care, and Respite (HomeSupport)

· Residential Treatment

· Counseling

· Substance Abuse

· Big Brother Big Sister

· Teen Parent

· Supervised Parenting
